Built in the 1700's by the founder of Westminster, the Winchester Country Inn is one of Carroll County's oldest buildings. In 1986, the Inn and grounds were completely restored combining its rich natural beauty with present day comforts. Its restoration and refurbishment, featured in Country Living magazine, was noted for its attention to detail. Centrally located in Westminster, this historical site is a link to early America.
